About Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square is one of the world's most famous landmarks and the spiritual heart of London. Constructed in the early 1800s to commemorate Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and home to the recently restored Nelson's Column, the square is rich in history and is visited by an estimated 15 million people every year.
